Prof. Dasharath Baltu Sagare was born in Pangaon, Taluka Barshi District - Solapur in a very ordinary family. His mother passed away during the early childhood. After the mother`s death his grandfather, father, sister, brother and aunt took care of him. He has completed HSC in Pangaon and B.A. in Barshi followed by M.A. through “Earn & Learn” scheme from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Soon after completion of M.A. he got appointed as Lecturer at ‘Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha, Pune’ and thus he started his teaching career in Kanyashala, Satara. Later on he completed his B. P. Ed in Barshi. In 1997, while he is on the way towards Pune, he met accidently to Shri Subrao Kadam, the youngest brother of Hon. Dr. Patangrao Kadam that leads to a strong bonding of friendship and affection.

Prof. Dasharath B. Sagare has over 35 years of experience in educational field. He realized the importance of education in every individual`s life especially in rural area. In 2008, on the auspicious occasion of ‘Dashara’ he established ‘Yashoda Shikshan Sanstha’ (YSS) and in 2009 ‘Yashoda Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Satara’ (YSPM) at Yashoda Nagar, Godoli, Satara. The name YASHODA is the reflection of Sir`s mother name to whom he consider his idol. YSS started with Nursery and First standard in both Marathi & English medium. Today, YSS has five schools from standard first to tenth, three Junior colleges of Arts, Commerce & Science under its umbrella. A great initiative by Prof. Sagare Sir is ‘Dattak Palak’ scheme for the economically under privileged students. Today, more than 100 students are receiving the benefit of this scheme. With the great vision to make the drastic change in the education system, Sir moved a step ahead by entering into Pre-primary, primary, secondary, higher secondary and technical education. In year 2008 Yashoda Shikshan Sanstha was established. As a very next step ahead ‘Yashoda Technical Campus’ (YTC) was started at Wadhe Phata, Satara in the year 2011. YSS has 9 different schools in satara city and nearby villages. YTC has Faculty of Engineering (Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, E&TC, Civil branches), Pharmacy (D. Pharm, B. Pharm & M. Pharm - Pharmaceutics & Pharmacology), M.B.A., M.C.A. & College of Architecture. YTC is from the very few campuses that has received the approval of AICTE, New Delhi & DTE for starting eleven courses at a time.
